Playing a role in seven top-five finishes for the Lycoming College women's swim team at the Diamond City Invitational has helped junior Cara Zortman earn her second straight Warrior of the Week award. Zortman had a hand in 285 of the team's 528 points (54 percent) at the 11-team invitational, as she helped all four of the team's relay teams finish in the top four at the event. The anchor leg for all four events, Zortman helped the 200-yard freestyle relay finish fourth in 1:45.84, the 400-yard medley relay take fourth in 4:15.95, the 200-yard medley relay finish third in 1:56.34 and the 400-yard freestyle relay take third in 3:52.23. In individual events, she took second in the 100-yard freestyle (55.66), third in the 50-yard freestyle (25.36) and fourth in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.73). Zortman's 200-yard freestyle time is fourth best in the MAC this season and her 100-yard freestyle time is fifth.
