After leading the Warriors to a 3-0 opening week, sophomore Kevin Anthony earned his first career Warrior of the Week honors. The 6-5 forward averaged 17.0 points per game, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game, as he capped the week by earning Tip-Off Classic MVP honors. Anthony posted 23 points on 10-of-16 shooting in an overtime win against CUNYAC preseason favorite Staten Island on Friday and added 17 points against Hunter, predicted to finish second in the CUNYAC North, despite playing just 22 minutes on Saturday to highlight a 93-68 win. Anthony also notched 11 points in the season opener at Penn State-Wilkes-Barre despite playing just 17 minutes.
