After setting a program record for the second time in her career, senior Katryn Yocum has earned her 14th career Warrior of the Week award and the fifth of the season. Yocum posted a 6K time of 22:34.4 and finished 39^th, the best finish in program history, at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional meet in Lock Haven, Pa., on Saturday, Nov. 16. Yocum finished the 6K race with a time of 22:34.4, which placed her 39^th in a field of 218 runners, as she beat the program record of 22:52.4. She finished the meet a minute-and-a-half after the regional champion, Claire Anderson from Washington & Jefferson.

Yocum had a phenomenal season for the Warriors, winning two races, finishing in the top five three times and the top 15 seven times, beating 90 percent of the more than 800 athletes she competed against to the finish line in 2024. She also became the only four-time all-conference selection in program history.
