Senior Troy Hayre posted his second straight win over a nationally-ranked wrestler on Friday night to lead the Lycoming at No. 12 College at Brockport to win his first Warrior of the Week award of the season. Hayre, facing off against eighth-ranked 184-pounder Lukas Pariso, posted a second period and Hayre won the match in the third period with a late takedown. Hayre, who is 14-2 on the year, also beat sixth-ranked Nate Murren of Ursinus in the third-place match at Messiah’s Petrofes Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 4.
