After averaging 13.5 points, 7.0 assists and 3.3 steals over the course of four Warrior wins to start the season, sophomore point guard Jerald Williams has clinched his first Warrior of the Week honors of the season. Williams scored career-high 20 points in the season-opener against AMCC preseason favorite Pitt-Bradford and he added nine points and 12 assists, barely missing a career-high and a double-double on Wednesday against Penn State Hazleton. He was just as solid last weeekend during the Tip-Off Tournament, as he flirted with triple-double in just 27 minutes against Penn State Wilkes-Barre on Friday, notching 11 points, seven assists and a career-high tying six steals. On Saturday, he posted 14 points, five assists and four steals against Johnson & Wales to wrap up all-tournament honors for the second straight year while leading the Warriors to the title.
