Key to a 2-1 week for the Warriors while going 3-0 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles play, first-year women's tennis player Sadie Stahl has earned her first career Warrior of the Week award. She helped the team to a 5-2 win over Division II Lock Haven, posting a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles with partner Sarah Lanphear before dropping Alaina Marchioni, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 4 singles for the Warriors first singles point. She added another 6-2 win with Lanphear at No. 2 doubles before posting point three in a 4-3 win over Penn State Altoona with a 7-5, 6-0 win over Abigail Morgan at No. 4 singles and also benefited from a win by retirement in dual with Drew on Saturday.
Stahl leads the Warriors with a 7-1 singles mark this year, including a 5-0 mark in dual meets. She is 4-2 in doubles play with Lanphear.
