By breaking into the top 20 in NCAA Division III history, senior Jerald Williams has earned his seventh career Warrior of the Week honor. Williams broke the Commonwealth Conference's career assists record with a 13-assist effort against King's on Sunday, giving him 671 in his career, which is 18th in NCAA Division III history, and three more than Mike Rhoades of Lebanon Valley, who posted 668 from 1992-95, the 21st-best total in Division III history. The point guard averaged 10.0 points, 9.0 assists and 3.5 steals in a pair of wins to extend the Warriors win streak to eight games. He posted 10 points and five assists in just 20 minutes to help the Warriors beat Messiah, the defending conference champions, 70-54, on Friday before his 10 points and 13 assists for his third double-double of the season against King's. Williams also hit two 3-pointers in the game and added four steals.
