After posting just the sixth five-hit game in school history, softball's sophomore Amy Cline has earned her first Warrior of the Week honors. Cline posted six hits in the doubleheader against Albright on Saturday, as the Warriors improved to 2-0 in conference play for the first time since 2000 and since joining the Commonwealth Conference in 2007. In the nightcap of the doubleheader, she finished 5-for-5 with three runs and an RBI to lead the Warriors to a 9-7 win. She added a double in the come-from-behind win and also had two singles in the seven-run fifth inning to cap the come-from-behind win. The shortstop went 1-for-3 with two runs and two walks in 11-1 win in the first game of the doubleheader, an 11-1 win. Cline also kept up a frenetic pace with five runs in the doubleheader to stay tied for the league lead with 19 runs, which is just four runs shy of entering the top 10 in the school's single-season record book.
