SCRANTON, Pa. — On Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 23, the Lycoming College field hockey team fell to Marywood, 3-1, in a non-conference match. Junior goalkeeper
Hilary Clark (Wilmington, Del./John Dickinson School) made 17 saves as Marywood finished with a 33 shots.

Clark recorded the career best in saves while playing all 60 minutes in goal. Sophomore
Laurel Fite (Shermans Dale, Pa./West Perry) scored for the Warriors and put both of her shots on goal and senior
Carmen Hannon (Aldie, Va./Champe) added an assist.

The Warriors (3-4) turned their early pressure into a 1-0 lead in the first quarter, earning two penalty corners before Fite scored at 6:56 off an assist from Hannon.

Marywood (4-3) tied the game in the first before adding two third-quarter goals to take control

Brooke Barwick scored an unassisted game-winning goal and Amelia Niven and Emma Toth also scored.
