KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – After the fourth quarter started with a lightning delay and the Lycoming College men's lacrosse team down by a pair of goals, the team stormed back with six goals in the final 11 minutes to post a 12-9 win over Keuka College at Jephson Community Athletic Complex on Saturday evening, March 7.

Samuel Hall (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) scored three goals during the Warriors' fourth-quarter run, taking a dish from junior
Brogan Wooley (Hampton, N.J./Morris Catholic) with 10:53 left to make it 8-7, before tying the game at eight with 9:06 left.

A faceoff win led to a quick transition goal, with Wooley finding sophomore
James Hall-Melnychuck (Magnolia, N.J./Sterling) for a go-ahead score with 8:53 left. Sophomore
Cesar Carmona-Felipe (Oakland, Calif./Oakland Tech) added an insurance goal with 5:03 left.

Keuka (2-1 overall) closed within a goal with 4:11 left, but Wooley scored a side-winded man-up goal with 2:04 left before Hall closed out the scoring with 1:38 left, clinching the Warriors' first win.

Hall finished with five goals, two groundballs and two caused turnovers, Carmona-Felipe notched two goals and two assists and Wooley added a goal and two assists. First-year
Gavin Bicher (Myerstown, Pa./ELCO) and first-year
Hunter Skornick (Meadville, Pa./Meadville Area) each posted three groundballs.

Garis Tocco (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) cut the Wolves' lead to 5-3 at halftime. The Wolves warded off the Warriors' attack in the third, as goals from Carmona-Felipe, Hall and first-year
Kyle Kunes (Joppa, Md./Joppatowne) got the team within a goal, but Keuka answered with a goal to keep the lead each time. After the lightning delay, Harrison Root opened the fourth quarter with a goal for the Wolves, setting up the Warriors' comeback.

Ryan MacElhinney (Holmes, N.Y./Carmel) scored the first goal for the Warriors early in the second quarter.

Root led the Wolves with six goals and five groundballs and Nikolas Gitsis notched two assists.

Junior
Evan Donnelly (Hanover, Md./Archbishop Spalding) finished with 13 saves for the Warriors and Jaxson Tucker had seven saves for Keuka.

The Warriors get back in action on Wednesday, March 11, when they host Elmira College at 4 p.m., at UPMC Field.
