WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — The Lycoming College women's tennis team was picked 10th in the Landmark Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the conference on Tuesday, Feb. 10.
Defending regular-season champion Moravian earned the first-place nod, with four first place votes. They narrowly edged out defending Landmark Conference tournament champion, Scranton, as well as Catholic, each whom earned a trio of first-place votes. Drew, Goucher, and Juniata made up the middle of the poll, with Wilkes, Susquehanna, Elizabethtown, and Lycoming rounding out the poll.
Sophomore Sadie Stahl (Duboistown, Pa./South Williamsport Area) led the Warriors through a 1-6 fall, posting a 4-5 singles record at the No. 1 slot.
Lycoming will begin their spring slate on Friday, March 20 with a road non-conference tilt against Houghton, which will get underway at 3 p.m.
