WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Three Warriors claimed victories in singles play for the Lycoming College women's tennis team, which fell 4-3 in a Landmark Conference match against Susquehanna University on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at Brandon Park.
In No. 1 singles, junior Sadie Stahl (Duboistown, Pa. / South Williamsport) took a 6-2, 6-4 victory, and first year Emma Dubnansky (New Market, Md. / Oakdale) breezed to a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 2. Finally, in No. 6 singles first year Anna Booze (Greencastle, Pa. / Greencastle-Antrim) battled to a 6-1, 4-6, 6-2 victory for her first collegiate win.
Lycoming falls to 2-3, 0-2 in Landmark Conference action, while Susquehanna improved to 1-0 overall and in the Landmark.
The Warriors will be back in action on Saturday, Sept. 26, for a non-conference match at Brandon Park against Misericordia. The match will get underway at 1 p.m.
