WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – With wins in singles and doubles in a tight match with Penn College, senior Luke Taylor (Williamsport, Pa./Word of Life Bible Institute) has earned the Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week award, the conference office announced.
 
Taylor teamed with first-year Lucas Bower (Williamsport, Pa./St. John Neumann) to post a 6-0 win over Penn College's No. 3 doubles team and Taylor beat Hawk, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 5 singles.
 
Taylor is 8-5 in his singles career after going 7-5 as a junior in the No. 5 and 6 singles slots.
 
The Warriors get back on the court on Saturday, Sept. 13, when they head to the King's Invitational for a 9 a.m. start.
