ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Junior
Nick Hoheb (Brick, N.J./Brick Township) posted two singles and reached base all three times he batted to lead the Lycoming College baseball team, which fell to Elizabethtown College, 5-1, in Landmark Conference action on Sunday, April 6 at Kevin Scott Boyd Stadium.

The Warriors (15-12 overall, 7-5 Landmark) notched six hits in the game, as K Mulville (2-2) tossed seven shutout innings, allowing four hits, walking two and striking out eight for the Blue Jays (14-10 overall, 7-5 Landmark).

Down by five runs, the Warriors scored their lone run in the ninth, with sophomore
Sean Perkins (Berlin, N.J./Eastern Regional) extending his hitting streak to 11 games with a leadoff double. Junior
A.J. Llorente (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) followed with a single before Perkins scored on a one-out groundout.

The Blue Jays scored a single run in the second, two in the sixth, one in the seventh and were aided by a homer from N Fiorini in the eighth, his third hit and RBI of the game. He also had an RBI double in the sixth.

Llorente (2-2) tossed five innings, allowing four hits and a run. He struck out three and walked one.

The Warriors get back on the field on Wednesday, April 9, when they head to first-place Wilkes University for a 6 p.m. Landmark Conference game.
