WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College baseball team fell to first-place Wilkes University, 5-0, in Landmark Conference action on Wednesday afternoon, April 23, at Brandon Park.

Wilkes' A.J. Levandoski (7-0) tossed eight shutout innings, allowing three hits and walking two while striking out eight.

Nick Hoheb (Brick, N.J./Brick Township) each had hits for the Warriors (20-16 overall, 11-9 Landmark), with Hoheb doubling.

Aaron Perna (Dayton, N.J./South Brunswick) (0-1) tossed 3 1/3 innings, allowing one hit and five walks. He allowed one run and struck out one.

Jack Mathis led the Colonel offense, going 3-for-4 with two runs, a three-run fifth-inning homer and four RBI. Tehnon Hugo also scored two runs.

The Colonels improved to 26-8 overall and 17-3 in the Landmark Conference.

The Warriors get back on the field on Saturday, April 26, when they host the Catholic University of America in a 12 p.m. Landmark Conference doubleheader.
