Mason Drozal (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) pitched one-run baseball into the sixth inning of game two, as the Lycoming College baseball team swept King's, 6-5 and 9-1, in a non-conference doubleheader at Brandon Park on Sunday afternoon, March 9.
The Warriors have now won five straight baseball games for the first time since becoming Lycoming College in 1947, as the team surpassed four game winning streaks enjoyed by the 1957 and 1965 squads.

Danny DeLucas (Whittier, Calif./LaSerna) with the winning run after the team was down four runs in the 6-5 win.
King's led 4-0 after two and a half innings before Lycoming manufactured a run in the third inning when senior right fielder
Jake Schilling (Levittown, Pa./Pennsbury) singled through the left side, stole second, took third on a passed ball and scored on a sac fly from DeLucas.
After King's got another unearned run in the fourth inning, the Warriors rallied behind Lindsey, who doubled to lead off. Junior pitcher
A.J. Llorente (Williamsport, Pa./Montoursville) singled up the middle. Junior left fielder
Josh Bottger (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Wilkes-Barre) followed with an RBI single down the left field line. After a fielder's choice, junior catcher
Nick Hoheb (Brick, N.J./Brick Township) delivered a bases-clearing triple that got past a diving fielder. A sac fly from Schilling tied the game. Junior center fielder
Nick Reeder (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) followed with the 100
th hit of his career, becoming the first Warrior to reach the milestone, but a strikeout ended the inning.
From there, both teams traded zeroes for the next four frames before DeLucas singled with one out in the ninth. First-year
Kaden Shay (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport Area) followed with a bunt single, setting up Lindsey's game-ending hit.
DeLucas was 2-for-2 with a run and RBI, Lindsey was 2-for-4 with a run and RBI, Bottger was 2-for-3 with a run and RBI and a home-run robbing catch in the seventh inning, and Hoheb went 2-for-3 with a run, two RBI and a triple.
Junior
Joel Inman (Berlin, N.J./Eastern Regional) (1-0) earned the win, allowing one hit and striking out two in 2 1/3 innings.
Owen Ness and Zach Day each had two hits and a run to lead the Monarchs (1-5 overall). Vincent Mattio took the loss, allowing three hits and one run in 1 1/3 innings.
Drozal dominated the second game, allowing just four baserunners before he gave up three singles in a row in the sixth to allow King's to score its only run.
The Warriors got their offense started in the third inning. DeLucas doubled to lead off and after a pair of outs, he scored on a throwing error. Sophomore shortstop
Tyler Iams (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) followed with a single up the middle before Hoheb notched an RBI single. Sophomore pinch hitter
Eric MacCluen (Downingtown, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) also followed with a two-RBI single through the right side.
In the fourth, Lycoming got four more runs with RBI singles coming from Lindsey and Bottger. In the sixth, Lindsey delivered a monster homer to left for his school-record fifth of the year and Bottger scored on another RBI single from MacCluen.
Lindsey led the Warriors, going 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI and MacCluen went 2-for-3 with three RBI. Jaiden Wanamaker went 2-for-3 with a RBI for the Monarchs.
Drozal (1-0) tossed 5 2/3 innings, allowing seven hits and one run. He struck out two. Matt Masala (0-2) took the loss, allowing six hits and no earned runs in three-plus innings.
The Warriors get back on the field on Tuesday, March 11, when they head to Lancaster Bible College for a 2 p.m. non-conference game on Tuesday, April 11.
