LANCASTER, Pa. – The Lycoming College baseball team extended its winning streak to a program-record six games while setting new program standards for runs (22) and home runs (8) in a game, as Lycoming beat Lancaster Bible, 22-5, in a run-rule shortened 22-5 non-conference victory at LBC's Baseball Field on Tuesday, March 11.

The Warriors (6-5 overall) bested the previous high-water mark for wins of 19, set in a 19-10 win over Bucknell on May 8, 1957, as junior
Nick Reeder (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area), junior
A.J. Llorente (Williamsport, Pa./Montoursville Area) and sophomore
Eric MacCluen (Downingtown, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) all tied the program record with two homers in a game. Senior
Danny DeLucas (Whittier, Calif./La Serna) and junior
Brody Lindsey (Monrovia, Md./DeMatha Catholic) also had homers.

Reeder went 3-for-4 with four runs and three RBI and DeLucas was 3-for-5 with three runs, a double and a RBI. Llorente went 2-for-3 with three runs and three RBI, junior
Josh Bottger (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Wilkes-Barre Area) was 2-for-5 with three runs and MacCluen was 3-for-3 with two runs and four RBI, as Lycoming knocked around 19 hits.

The Warriors notched five runs in the first, aided by a three-run blast from Lindsey and a line drive homer from Llorente. In the third, Lycoming extended the lead to 9-0, with MacCluen posting a two-run blast before Reeder and DeLucas hit the second back-to-back homers of the game to make it 9-0.

In the fourth, Lycoming crossed the plate 10 times, with MacCluen and Llorente homering in the frame while the Warriors used a mix of seven hits, three errors, three walks and a hit batter to score the runs. Reeder added a homer in the fifth, senior
Evan Mok (Daly City, Calif./St. Ignatius) had an RBI double and in the sixth and a Bottger sac fly scored the final run in the seventh.

Dylan Witkowski led the Chargers (6-7 overall), going 3-for-3 with a homer and Malachi Sloane was 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBI.

Landon Evans (Millville, Pa./Millville) pitched four innings, allowing one run and three hits. He struck out one and walked three. First-year
Lex Nelson (Freehold, N.J./Freehold Township) (1-0) earned the win in relief, allowing two hits and striking out two in two innings. Noah Robinette pitched three innings, allowing eight hits, three walks and nine runs for the Chargers.
