WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Junior Riley Block (Hopatcong, N.J. / Morris Catholic) scored three goals against Elmira and added nine against Elizabethtown to lead the Lycoming College women's lacrosse team in back-to-back victories, earning her the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week award, the league announced on Monday, March 31.

To kick off the week, Block posted three goals in the first quarter against Elmira, beginning the Warriors' 18-0 run on Wednesday evening.

During Saturday's 21-16 victory over Elizabethtown, Block contributed nine goals — including four in the first quarter, two in the second, two in the third and one in the fourth — which is tied for second most in a game in program history. She also added two assists, which brought her to 11 points, as she finished the game with 203 career points, becoming the eighth player in school history to reach the mark.

Block leads the Landmark Conference with an average of 4.56 goals per game and sits second in the league with an average of 5.44 points per game.

Earlier this year, Block became the second Lycoming College women's lacrosse player to earn the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division III Co-Offensive Player of the Week award on March 18. She helped the Warriors earn the Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week award for a third time this year, joining senior Katie Maguire (Garnerville, N.Y./Albertus Magnus), who earned the award on Feb. 24 and March 3. First-year goalkeeper Emma Yanders (Kempton, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) earned the Defensive Athlete of the Week award on March 17.

Following last week's victories, the Warriors improved to 6-3 overall and 1-1 in the Landmark Conference.

The Warriors travel to Scranton, Pa., on Wednesday, April 2, for Landmark Conference action against the University of Scranton at 4 p.m.
