Warriors fall to Goucher

TOWSON, Md. - The Lycoming College men's tennis team faced a 7-0 setback against Goucher in Landmark Conference action on Saturday, March 22.

Junior Josh Neidert (Reading, Pa. / Oley Valley), senior Matthew Baldridge (Damascus, Md. / Damascus) and first-year Logan Hammond (Williamsport, Pa. / Loyalsock Township) competed in No. 1 through No. 3 singles, respectively.

First-year Kayvan Shams (Williamsport, Pa. / South Williamsport), senior Mohamed Ebeid (Cairo, Egypt / Egyptian British International School) and sophomore Depesh Rai (Enola, Pa. / East Pennsboro) followed in No. 4 through No. 6 singles.

Sophomore Thomas Andersen (Wenonah, N.J. / Deptford Township) also competed with Ebeid in No. 3 doubles.

The Warriors fell to 0-7 overall and 0-3 in the Landmark Conference. Goucher rose to 6-5 overall and 2-0 in the Landmark Conference.

The Warriors will travel to Westminster, Md., on Sunday, March 23, for non-conference action against McDaniel at 12 p.m.
