Three Warriors set for run at NCAA Division III Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The largest contingent of Lycoming College wrestlers to qualify for the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships since 2019 are set to start their run at the two-day tournament at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 14, at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.

Trackwrestling.com will provide live statistical updates and video. Free live video is available on NCAA.com and tickets can be found on Ticketmaster.com.

All three Warriors enter the tournament unseeded and will need to win two matches in the championship bracket on Friday or three in the consolation bracket to earn All-American status.

Senior 125-pounder Kaden Majcher (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) enters the tournament with a 32-4 record this year and a 115-29 mark in his career, which is the sixth-most wins in program history. A four-year starter and three-time placewinner at the NCAA Regionals, Majcher finally qualified for the NCAA Championships after winning the Region 2 Qualifier with a 2-0 win over RIT's Lee Rubin.

He opens the 24-man tournament by taking on top-seeded Joziah Fry of Johnson & Wales, who is 38-0.

Sophomore 165-pounder Kaiden Wagner (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) qualified for the championship after finishing third in his weight class at the Region 2 Qualifier, as he won six straight bouts after losing his opening match of the tournament. The Lock Haven University transfer is 11-2 this season.

Wagner opens the tournament by facing the winner of a match between sixth-seeded Jack Richardson of Johnson & Wales (28-5) and Carson Martinson of Central (15-3).

Sophomore 174-pounder Nolen Zeigler (Loysville, Pa./West Perry) finished second in his weight class at the Region 2 Qualifier to earn a spot at the NCAA Championship. Zeigler is 31-4 in his first season with the Warriors after transferring from Bloomsburg University.

Zeigler opens the tournament with a first-round matchup against Millikin's Dejon Glaster (30-2).
