GREENSBORO, N.C. – Sophomore
Nick Reeder (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) had a pair of hits, two stolen bases and a run to lead the Lycoming College baseball team, which fell to Greensboro College, 7-1, in non-conference action at Ted Leonard Park on Sunday, Feb. 18.

Reeder got the Warriors (0-3 overall) on the board in the sixth inning, when he singled to center field to lead off, stole second, took third on a ground out and scored on a sac fly from junior
Danny DeLucas (Whittier, Calif./La Serna).

Greensboro (3-0 overall) scored a run in the third before two-run innings in the fourth, seventh and eighth, while starting pitcher Michael Richards (1-0) tossed seven frames for the Pride, allowing five hits, a run and striking out five to earn the win.

Drake Carrick got the Pride on the board with a homer in the third inning and Kai Hayen hit a two-run homer in the fourth. Hayen finished 2-for-3 with a run and two RBI and Brody Gardner added two hits and a run.

Tyler Iams (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) and junior
Jake Schilling (Levittown, Pa./Pennsbury) each had doubles.

Sophomore
Jake Wilber (Toms River, N.J./Toms River South) tossed four innings, allowing four hits, a walk and three runs. He struck out four.

The Warriors get back in action on Saturday, Feb. 24, when they head to Marymount (Va.) for a 2 p.m. doubleheader.
