READING, Pa. – Sophomore
Kelly Preston (Boonton Lakes, N.J./Boonton Lakes) became the first Lycoming College field hockey player in its restart to score in back-to-back games, as Lycoming fell to Albright College, 5-1, in non-conference action at Shirk Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 2.

Preston scored with 14 seconds left in the first half to tie the game after Albright opened the scoring two minutes prior.

The Lions (2-0 overall) scored twice in the opening two minutes of the second quarter to take control of the contest, however.

Five different players scored for Albright in the game.

Sophomore
Isabella Bobé (York Springs, Pa./Bermudian Springs) stopped eight shots in the game for the Warriors (1-1 overall). Veronica Heckman earned the win in net for the Lions.

The Warriors get back on the field on Wednesday, Sept. 6, when they head to Houghton University for a 7 p.m. game.
