Riley Marines (East Berlin, Pa./Bermudian Springs), who delivered the golden goal in sudden-victory overtime, as the Lycoming College field hockey team beat Cedar Crest, 2-1, on Tuesday night, Sept. 19, at UPMC Field.

The golden goal helped Lycoming (3-3 overall) surpass its win total from 2022 and turn its most wins since a 5-6 season in 1989.

Carmen Hannon (Aldie, Va./John Champe), who tipped the ball past the keeper and into the net.

The Falcons (1-5 overall) tied the game with just 38 seconds remaining, as Adriana Hinkle scored on a break.

Isabella Bobé (York Springs, Pa./Bermudian Springs) stopped 10 shots to earn the win off 11 Cedar Crest shots and Kadee Schrader notched 11 for the Falcons, as Lycoming took 15 shots in the contest.

Lycoming held a 9-4 advantage in penalty corners during the contest.

The Warriors get back on the field on Saturday, Sept. 23, when they head to Goucher College for a 1 p.m. Landmark Conference game.
