WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College field hockey team fell to Elizabethtown College, 3-0, in both teams' Landmark Conference opener on Friday night, Sept. 15, at UPMC Field.

The Warriors (2-3 overall, 0-1 Landmark) posted seven penalty corners in the contest and took two shots in goal, with both coming in the third quarter.

Elizabethtown (3-2 overall, 1-0 Landmark) got on the board at the end of the first quarter when Megan Myer lifted a shot in a scrum into the upper part of the net before Drew Bridges scored the last two goals unassisted.

Isabella Bobé (York Springs, Pa./Bermudian Springs) stopped eight shots in the game for the Warriors, as the Blue Jays took 13 shots. Rachel Murphy earned the win for the Blue Jays and Angelina Giglio-Tos had two saves.

The Warriors are back on the field on Tuesday, Sept. 19, when they face Cedar Crest College at 7 p.m. at UPMC Field.
