First-year Carmen Hannon (Aldie, Va./John Champe) also added a goal and an assist and sophomore Tayah Bauer (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita), junior Halie Woodring (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) and sophomore Kelly Preston (Boonton, N.J./Mountain Lakes) each also added a goal. Sophomores Riley Marines (East Berlin, Pa./Bermudian Springs) and Katie Loughran (Ottsville, Pa./Pennridge) each added an assist.

The Warriors (1-0 overall) broke open the game with a five-goal second quarter, with Shahan scoring three goals in the period, after Hannon scored the team's first goal in the fifth minute.
