Lycoming cross country announces incoming class

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - An accomplished group of seven will join the Lycoming College men's and women's cross country teams in 2023, fifth-year head coach Katie Sick announced on Thursday, Aug. 10.
 
The group includes three men and four women.
 
The men's cross country team finished 16th at the MAC Championships and in 32nd at the NCAA Mideast Regional and the women finished 15th and 27th respectively in 2022.

  • Went 74-42 in career, finishing as sectional runner-up twice and champion once

Avery Rosan, Frederica, Del./Polytech
  • A four-year letterwinner in cross country at Polytech
  • A two-time state qualifier
  • Finished 45th in 18:56.7 at state meet as a senior
  • Ran a career-best 18:16.7 as a senior
  • A four-year letterwinner as a wrestler
  • Went 51-46 in career, placing at state qualifier twice and competing at state championships three times
 
Joshua Sellers, Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area
  • A four-year letterwinner in cross country at Gettysburg Area
  • Posted a personal-best time of 19:50.4 as a junior
 
Bailee Dincher, Muncy, Pa./Commonwealth Charter Academy
  • Distance runner that has raced in several 5, 10 and 25K races
  • Posted a 5:42:54 at the Sharp Top 25K to finish third in her age group
 
Meghan Farr, Sellersville, Pa./Pennridge
  • A three-year letterwinner at Pennridge
  • Finished 112th at conference championships as a senior in 29:34.6
  • Ran a personal-best 26:15.9 as a sophomore
  • Also a member of the track and field team
