GLENSIDE, Pa. – First-year
Nick Reeder (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) led the Lycoming College baseball team with three hits, a double, a run and RBI, as it fell in a pair of MAC Freedom games to league-leading Arcadia University, 13-5 and 12-1, on Sunday, March 26, at Skip Wilson Field.

Reeder went 2-for-4 with a run, a double and RBI in the first game of the doubleheader and junior
Braden Campbell (Centerville, Utah/Cooper Hills) went 2-for-4 with a run, two doubles and two RBI for the Warriors (3-12 overall, 1-6 MAC Freedom), who led 5-3 after 4 ½ innings, but Arcadia scored the game's last 10 runs.

After Arcadia (12-6 overall, 7-1 MAC Freedom) scored the game's first two runs, the Warriors got started in the fourth inning, as Campbell led off with a double to left center. He stole third before scoring on a groundout. In the fifth, first-year
Kai Foster (West Milford, N.J./West Milford) and first-year
Zach Pleska (Salem, Ohio/Columbiana) singled to lead off before a pair of wild pitches helped Foster score. First-year
Matt Worth (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) followed with a walk before a sac bunt put runners on second and third before Reeder singled up the middle. Campbell capped the rally with a double into center field.

The Knights broke the game open in the bottom of the inning, though, using seven hits and three walks to score nine runs.

Anthony Bruno led the Knights, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, a run and four RBI.

Hunter Sibley (2-2) earned the win, allowing two hits and a run in 1 2/3 innings, as he struck out four. First-year
Jake Wilber (Toms River, N.J./Toms River South) (2-2) drew the loss, allowing five hits and five runs in 3 1/3 innings. He struck out one.

In the second game, the Knights jumped out to a six-run lead in the first inning and Zach Steiger (1-1) struck out eight in four innings of work to post the 12-1 win.

Steiger allowed one hit, three walks and no earned runs during his stint on the mound. First-year
Landon Evans (Millville, Pa./Millville) (0-1) allowed three hits and an earned run in one inning of work.

Reeder, sophomore
Jake Schilling (Levittown, Pa./Pennsbury) and first-year
Ethan Snyder (Alexandria, Va./Hayfield) had hits in the game for the Warriors.

The Warriors scored in the fourth when Schilling and Foster walked to lead off. Schilling scored when he stole third and then came home on a throwing error.

Hunter Curley went 2-for-3 with two runs, a homer and three RBI for the Knights. Emilio Pallante scored three runs and also had two hits.

The Warriors get back on the field on Tuesday, March 28, when they head to Wilkes for a 3:30 p.m. MAC Freedom game.
