Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The top of the Lycoming College baseball team's lineup continued to impress with the first three batters combining for seven hits to lead the team on Friday, March 17, as it fell to DeSales University, 16-6, in the opening game of a three-game MAC Freedom set at Weiland Park.

Nick Reeder (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) went 2-for-4 with a run, junior
Braden Campbell (Centerville, Utah/Cooper Hills) went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a run and two RBI and first-year
Greg Wirin (Interlaken, N.J./Christian Brothers Academy) went 3-for-4 with a run, a double and two RBI.

The Warriors (1-9 overall, 0-3 MAC Freedom) got to work in the fourth inning, scoring two runs, as Wirin and first-year
Nick Hoheb (Brick, N.J./Brick Township) singled with one out before an error helped Wirin score, setting up an RBI double from first-year
Kai Foster (West Milford, N.J./West Milford).

In the fifth, the Warriors added three runs, with first-year
Mason Drozal (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) reaching on a walk before Reeder walked and Campbell drove both in with a double to left center. Wirin followed with a double of his own.

In the seventh, Drozal walked before Reeder reached on a bunt single, setting up an RBI single from Wirin.

Carson Allison led the Bulldogs, going 5-for-5 with three runs and two doubles. Joe Grigas went 2-for-3 with three runs, a homer and three RBI. Colin Tremblay drove in seven runs, hitting a grand slam in the second inning, as DeSales scored 10 in the first three innings.

Ryan Rieber pitched five innings, allowing eight hits, five runs, a walk and he struck out three to earn the win. First-year
Treyson Green (Celebration, Fla./Windermere Prep) (0-1) took the loss, allowing four runs in one inning of work.

The Warriors will open their home slate on Saturday, March 18, when they host DeSales in a 12 p.m. MAC Freedom doubleheader (two seven-inning games) at Muncy Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field.
