Owen Zimmerman (Stevens, Pa./Cocalico) finished off his first hat trick of the season and less than a minute later, junior
Max Anderson (Harrisburg, Pa./Homeschooled) net his second of three goals in the game, but McDaniel College posted an 11-9 non-conference win at Gill Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 25.

Zimmerman added an assist and two ground balls on top of his three goals. Anderson snagged a groundball with his own hat trick on five shots. Three other Warriors lit up the scoreboard, as senior
Josh Hall (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) scored once and picked up a team-high four groundballs and caused two turnovers, junior
Jakob Switzer (West Pittston, Pa./Wyoming Area) had a goal, three groundballs and three caused turnovers, and sophomore
Joey Hoover (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) scored once with a caused turnover.

Ryan Farrell (Swedesboro, Pa./Archmere Academy) posted nine faceoff wins.

Zimmerman scored a pair of man-up opportunities for the Warriors and his first score tied the game at one after the Terrors' Jason Fritz opened the scoring less than a minute into play. Assisted by junior
Patrick Dwyer (Somerville, N.J./Immaculata), Zimmerman found the back of the cage from the top of the Terrors' defensive zone.

The Green Terror scored the next four goals, putting the Warriors down 5-1, before Zimmerman scored his second of the game at 3:57 in the second quarter on a shot from the top of the box, assisted by sophomore
Sean Farrell (Allentown, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic). Less than 30 seconds later, Switzer scored near the crease with the assist awarded to
Sean Farrell again.

Hoover's goal at 8:08 in the third brought the Warriors within one of the Green Terror as Zimmerman's pass found him on the left hand side of the crease. Anderson, under pressure from two defenders, notched his first unassisted from just outside the top of the crease. Less than a minute later, Franco picked up a groundball and found Hall alone to clear the ball for the Warriors for a breakaway goal.

Anderson's final goal of his hat trick came unassisted with 3:36 remaining in the game after catching the rebound of Hoover's shot on goal for an over the shoulder goal.

Jason Fritz led the Terror with six goals and an assist. Jack Sabo led the team with four ground balls.

Sophomore goalkeeper
Ben Franco (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) made 11 saves for the Warriors and Brighton Lorber earned the win for the Terror making 16 saves.

The Warriors return to the field on Tuesday, Feb. 28, when they head to Ithaca College for a 4 p.m. non-conference matchup in Ithaca, N.Y.
