WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Junior
Ashley Yoh (Myerstown, Pa./ Eastern Lebanon County) led the Lycoming College women's basketball team with 18 points and 11 rebounds for her first double-double of the year to lift Lycoming to a 64-54 victory against Penn College and its first 4-0 start since 1996 on Tuesday, Nov. 21., at Bardo Gymnasium.

The Warriors (4-0 overall) trailed for nearly all of a 30-minute stretch from the middle of the first quarter to the middle of the fourth quarter, but turned a 45-36 deficit with 1:19 left in the third quarter around by scoring 28 of the game's last 37 points. First-year

Emily Lockard (Benton, Pa./Benton Area) hit a layup to make it 45-40 at the end of the third quarter.

The Wildcats and Warriors split the first 10 points through the first 4:15 of the fourth quarter, but the Warriors went on a 19-4 run to finish the game, with Yoh hitting a pair of free throws with 5:21 left before junior
Mya Wetzel (Frackville, Pa./ North Schuylkill) followed with a backcourt steal that resulted in a layup to make it a one-point game.

Meghan Dufner (Washington, N.J./ Warren Hills Regional) hit a second-chance jumper to give Lycoming its first lead since it was 13-12, giving Lycoming a 51-50 lead with 3:53 left. After a Wildcats free throw, junior
Alicia Goldenziel (Moscow, Pa./North Pocono) hit a layup underneath starting a run of nine consecutive points to make the score 60-51 with a 1:09 left. In the final minute, the Wildcats couldn't get closer than eight, as Lycoming hit two free throws and a layup to seal their 19
th straight win over Penn College.

Yoh had four assists to go with her double-double, as she paced a Lycoming team that held a 22-6 advantage in second-chance points thanks to a 47-22 advantage in rebounding. Dufner finished with 16 points, six rebounds and two steals and Lockard posted 10 points, five rebounds and three assists. Goldenziel posted six points and a game-high 12 rebounds to go with three assists and two blocks.

Lexi Troup led the Wildcats with 16 points, eight rebounds and three steals. Both Rachel Teats and Emily Pardee had 12 points a piece and combined for seven assists.
