BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Â A strong and tough defensive effort kept the Lycoming College field hockey team in the game, as it fell to Moravian University, 2-0, in Landmark Conference action at John Makuvek Field on Saturday, Oct. 7.

Isabella Bobé (York Springs, Pa./Bermudian Springs) stopped nine shots in a gutsy effort for the Warriors (4-7 overall, 0-4 Landmark), as the Greyhounds took 20 shots in the contest.

Sydney Anderson scored both goals for Moravian (4-7 overall, 2-2 Landmark), finding the net late in the second quarter on a give from Bekkah Kehoe and scoring in the final minute of the game.

Maia Machado earned the shutout in net for the Greyhounds.

The Warriors are back on the field on Wednesday, Oct. 11, when they head to Juniata College for a 7 p.m. Landmark Conference game.
