HUNTINGDON, Pa. – First-year Drew Degnan (Elmira, N.Y./Elmira) and senior Eliot Keith (New Ringgold, Pa./Blue Mountain) each won three individual events to pace the Lycoming College men's swimming team, as it posted a 71-35 win over Juniata College on Saturday, Oct. 28. The women's team also notched a 106-86 win over Juniata, while it fell to Lock Haven University, 131-78.
 
Degnan notched wins in the 200-meter freestyle (2:17.44), the 50-meter freestyle (26.41) and the 100-meter butterfly (1:10.10) and Keith took the 100-meter backstroke (1:05.57), the 100-meter freestyle (58.34) and the 200-meter individual medley (2:29.83). Junior Brian Hulsey (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis Christian) won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:33.51.
 
In the women's double-dual, the Warriors won four of the 14 events to defeat Juniata and fall to Lock Haven.
 
Sophomore Megan Lonergan (York, Pa./York Suburban) won the 50-meter freestyle in 32.09, senior Elisa DiNicola (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) won the 100-meter butterfly in 1:14.12 and senior Cathryn Brought (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) took the 200-meter individual medley in 2:39.23. The 400-yard freestyle relay team of DiNicola, Brought, senior Courtney Chapman (Warminster, Pa./William Tennent) and Lonergan won in 4:37.81.
 
The Warriors are back in the Lamade Gym Natatorium on Saturday, Nov. 4, when they host Hood College and Misericordia University in a 1 p.m. double dual meet.
