WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore
Isabella Bobé (Bermudian Springs, Pa./York Springs) stopped eight shots to move within one stop of posting 100 in back-to-back seasons for the Lycoming College field hockey team, as it fell to Wilkes University, 2-0, in Landmark Conference action on Wednesday night, Oct. 18, at UPMC Field.

Bobé stopped four shots in the first quarter, as Wilkes (8-7 overall, 3-4 Landmark) took eight of their 15 shots in the quarter. The Warriors (4-10 overall, 0-7 Landmark) shutout the Colonels through the final three quarters, as Bobé needed to make just four more stops in the final 45 minutes.

The Warriors took five shots in the game, with four shots coming in the last 45 minutes, but Wilkes keeper Carly Eidle was able to make all five saves to earn the shutout.

Kellie Scott scored both goals for the Colonels in the first quarter.

The Warriors are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 21, when they head to Drew University for a 1 p.m. Landmark Conference game.
