CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Lycoming College women's basketball team fell in MAC Freedom action to 12
th-ranked DeSales University, 77-32, on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 28, at Billera Hall.

Kenzie Reed (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) finished the afternoon with a team-leading seven points and 11 rebounds, two assists and a steal for the Warriors (5-15 overall, 1-10 MAC Freedom). Sophomore
Meghan Dufner (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) posted five points, six rebounds, and a steal and sophomore
Alicia Goldenziel (Moscow, Pa./North Pocono) posted four points, three rebounds, and a steal. Sophomore
Ashley Yoh (Myerstown, Pa./Eastern Lebanon County) had 11 rebounds as well.

The Bulldogs (18-1 overall, 10-1 MAC Freedom) opened the scoring with 10 points before Dufner's pull up put the Warriors on the board for two points. With only a layup from Megan Bealer, whose father, Rick, was a three-time All-American football player at Lycoming, following Dufner's bucket, first-year
Kami Abdo (Pottsville, Pa./Nativity BVM) started an eight-point run for the Warriors as she and sophomore
Mya Wetzel (Frackville, Pa./North Schuylkill) hit back-to-back 3-pointers. Dufner finished it with another layup to close within two points, but the Bulldogs answered with eight points to close the quarter. Goldenziel had four points in the second quarter, hitting a free throw and a 3-pointer that was followed by a layup from Reed.

In the second half, the Bulldogs held the Warriors to 16 points while scoring more than 20 in each quarter. Reed had three points early in the third before Yoh made three free throws in the quarter. First-year
Maddie Orich (San Jose, Cali./Leland) highlighted the final 10 minutes with a 3-pointer as Lockard, Reed, and sophomore
Isabella Fave (Middleburg, Pa./Midd-West) all connected on a layup a piece.

Bealer led the Bulldogs with 19 points, four rebounds, five assists and five steals. Mikaela Reese finished with 13 points and five rebounds. Olivia Scotti had 11 points and Lindsey Welch finished with 10 points and five assists.

The Warriors return to action on Saturday, Feb. 5, when they host Delaware Valley University for a 1 p.m. MAC Freedom doubleheader at Lamade Gym. The men's team will follow at 3 p.m.
