MADISON, N.J. – The Lycoming College field hockey team opened its first season in 30 years on Friday night, Sept. 2, against Cabrini University at the Drew University Fall Festival, falling 5-0 at Drew's Ranger Stadium.

Isabella Bobé (York Springs, Pa./Bermudian Springs) made 14 saves in her first career outing for the Warriors (0-1 overall).

Sophomore midfielder
Katie Maguire (Garnerville, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) recorded one shot on goal in the fourth quarter, while first-year
Kelly Preston (Boonton, N.J./Mountain Lakes) also had a near chance at putting one in the back of the net.

Cabrini's Caroline Gallagher recorded four of the five goals, joined by teammate Olivia Sims. Netminder Courtney Keith earned the win.

The Warriors return to the field on Saturday, Sept. 3, when they face Fall Festival host Drew University at 12 p.m. in Madison, N.J.
