GLENSIDE, Pa. – Senior
Dominick Massaro (Centereach, N.Y./Sachem North) posted three goals for his fourth hat trick of the season to lead the Lycoming College men's lacrosse team, but Arcadia University won the MAC Freedom matchup with Lycoming, 20-9, on Saturday, April 2, at Jean Lennox West Field.

Owen Zimmerman (Stevens, Pa./Cocalico) finished the game with two goals, two assists, and two groundballs. First-years
Ryan Farrell (Swedesboro, N.J./Archmere Academy),
Sean Farrell (Allentown, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic), sophomore
Patrick Dwyer (Somerville, N.J./Immaculata), and senior
Michael Scarponi (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) all scored a goal apiece. Senior
Markus Sidwell (Glen Burnie, Md./Glen Burnie) joined Zimmerman with two assists.

Massaro's first goal came halfway through the third and he scored again just a minute later off a turnover. Dwyer scored with 2:03 left in the quarter, his second of the season. Massaro completed the hat trick in the fourth, but the Knights scored nine goals in the second half to expand the lead to as many as 12 goals in the fourth quarter.

Farrell found the back of the net first for the Warriors at 9:36 in the first after winning the faceoff and connecting on the pass from sophomore
Andrew Dede (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts), who picked up the groundball. Zimmerman tied the game at two with his first goal at 7:24. Scarponi scored three minutes later to give the Warriors the lead at 3-2, but the Knights quickly tied the game and went on a 3-0 run.

Zimmerman's second goal of the game put the Warriors within one at 12:49 in the second.
Sean Farrell scored with two minutes remaining in the half after the Knights put up six straight goals, helping them lead 11-5 at the break.

Brian Albertsen led the Knights with seven goals, four assists, and four groundballs. Brett Sciascia picked up a team leading nine groundballs.

First-year goalkeeper
Ben Franco (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) led the team with eight groundballs and made 18 saves before he was relieved by junior goalkeeper
Sean Sonnie (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson), who made one save. Timmy Fyock made 16 saves for the Knights.

The Warriors return to the field on Wednesday, April 6, when they host King's College (Pa.) in a 7 p.m. MAC Freedom matchup at UPMC Field.
