YORK, Pa. – Clocking a new record time of 1:46.22 in the 200-yard freestyle preliminaries, senior
Jake Booth (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) broke his own school record in the event to highlight the Lycoming College men's and women's swim team's second day at the MAC Championships on Friday, Feb. 11, at the Graham Aquatic Center.

Booth bested his record of 1:47.30 set as a first-year at the 2019 MAC Championships by more than a second during preliminaries. Booth's 1:46.81 in the 200-freestyle finals was the second-fastest time in program history and helped him finish seventh. In the same event teammate sophomore
C.J. Zortman (York, Pa./York Suburban) placed 19
th at 1:51.03.

Noah Vivian (Barto, Pa./Boyertown) placed fifth in the 100-yard butterfly, the highest team placement of the day, clocking 53.57 – the fifth-fastest time in program history - and junior
Reilly Gluz (Syracuse, N.Y./Williston Northampton) placed 11
th with a 54:34.

In the 400-yard individual medley, sophomore
Carter Branigan (Lansdown, Pa./Commonwealth Charter) placed sixth with a time of 4:19.66, just behind his school record of 4:17.48 set in 2021, and junior
Matthew Michenfelder (East Windsor, N.J./Hightstown) came in 17
th with a 4:38.24, dropping 11 seconds off his preliminary time.

Will Marcinkowski (Philadelphia, Pa./LaSalle College), and sophomore
Eliot Keith (New Ringgold, Pa./Blue Mountain) placed 10
th at 1:30.43 and the B-team of Gluz, Michenfelder, Branigan and junior
Caleb Reigle (Mount Wolf, Pa./Northeastern) placed 24
th at 1:36.09. The 400-yard medley relay team of Zortman, Michenfelder, Gluz, and Reigle placed 22
nd at 3:54.30.

Devon Kaiser (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) placed 10
th in the 400-yard individual medley, clocking a 5:06.49 and in the 100-yard butterfly, sophomore
Elisa DiNicola (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) placed 12
th at 1:01.28.

The 200-freestyle relay team of Dinicola, Kaiser, junior
Katherine Brown (Glenside, Pa./Abington), and sophomore
Courtney Chapman (Warminster, Pa./William Tennent) placed seventh at 1:43.25. In the 400-yard medley relay, the women placed ninth at 4:14.76, as Brown posted a meet-best 1:04.29 split in the breaststroke portion to lead the team.

The Warriors return to the pool for the third day of the MAC Championships on Saturday, Feb. 12, with preliminaries set for 10 a.m. and finals set at 6 p.m.
