Mavin James (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) posted nine points to lead the Lycoming College men's basketball team, which fell to Wilkes University, 78-44, to open MAC Freedom Play at the Marts Center on Wednesday night, Nov. 30.

Isaiah Valentine (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg Area) added seven points and sophomore
Jack McGaha (New Market, Md./Oakdale) added five points and two assists. Senior
Mo Terry (Severn, Md./Severn School) led the team with three steals and first-year
J.J. Beagle (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) added six rebounds.

The Colonels led from the first bucket on, as they shot 54 percent (30-of-56) in the game and 50 percent (7-of-14) from three.

Ten players scored in the game for the Warriors (3-4 overall, 0-1 MAC Freedom), with first-year
Colin Seedor (Coal Township, Pa./Shamokin Area) scoring his first career points off a 3-pointer to cap the game.

Drake Marshall and Cayden Merrifield led the Colonels (4-3 overall, 1-0 MAC Freedom) with 13 points a piece. Marshall added nine rebounds and Merrifield posted four assists. Joey Zvorsky notched eight points, four assists and four steals.

The Warriors get back on the court on Saturday, Dec. 3, when they host Arcadia University at 3 p.m. in MAC Freedom play.
