Tayah Bauer (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita) scored in the third quarter for the Lycoming College field hockey team to highlight a 7-1 defeat to second-place Arcadia University in MAC Freedom action on Saturday, Oct. 22, at UPMC Field.

Bauer's goal came after the Warriors (2-12 overall, 0-7 MAC Freedom) were awarded a corner shot, as sophomore
Halie Woodring (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) set up the shot from just inside the arch with a pass that sailed through to Bauer, who was stationed just right of the goal post.

Kelly Preston (Boonton, N.J./Mountain Lakes) each finished the game with a defensive save.

Regan Sammons led the Knights (11-5 overall, 6-1 MAC Freedom) with three goals, Morgan Dee notched two goals, and Caeley LeTersky and Emma Heffley each had a goal.

Isabella Bobé (York Springs, Pa./Bermudian Springs) recorded a season-high 19 saves. Gracie Fenner earned the win for the Knights.

The Warriors return to the field on Wednesday, Oct. 26, when they close out the regular season against Wilkes University in a MAC Freedom contest at 7 p.m. at UPMC Field.
