Warriors fall to the Bulldogs

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Lycoming College field hockey team fell to MAC-Freedom-leading DeSales University, 8-0, in conference action on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Duc Field.
 
First-year Juliana McGovern (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) had two shots for the Warriors (2-11 overall, 0-7 MAC Freedom).
 
Tyra Wingle led the Bulldogs (12-3 overall, 7-0 MAC Freedom) with three goals. Maddie Trocki had three assists.
 
First-year goalkeeper Isabella Bobé (York Springs, Pa./Bermudian Springs) recorded a season-best 16 saves. Kayla Yeatman finished with two stops.
 
The Warriors return to the field on Saturday, Oct. 22, when they host Arcadia in MAC Freedom play at 6 p.m. at UPMC Field.
