DALLAS, Pa. – The Lycoming College field hockey team fell to Misericordia University, 4-0, in MAC Freedom action on Saturday, Oct. 15, at Mangelsdorf Field.
First-year goalkeeper
Isabella Bobé (York Springs, Pa./Bermudian Springs) stopped seven shots in net for the Warriors and both sophomore
Halie Woodring (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) and first-year
Victoria Burton (Marietta, Pa./Donegal) took shots for the Warriors (2-10 overall, 0-5 MAC Freedom).
Shannon Murphy scored twice for the Cougars (5-8 overall, 2-3 MAC Freedom) in the first quarter and Rebecca Scheidel and Ashley Pitz also scored. Taylor Deiter and Sarah Bogina made one save in the combined shutout.
The Warriors are back at it on Wednesday, Oct. 19, when they head to DeSales University for a 6 p.m. MAC Freedom contest.
