Meghan Dufner (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) posted five points in the fourth quarter, hitting two layups and a free throw, as she earned her first career double-double, posting 13 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists to lead the Lycoming College women's basketball team against MAC Freedom opponent Stevens Institute of Technology, which notched a 63-46 win on Saturday, Jan. 22, at Lamade Gymnasium.

Diana Rantz (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) posted eight points as she nailed two 3-pointers. Junior
Kenzie Reed (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) added for six points, two assists and two rebounds and sophomore
Allison Butler (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove Area) scored five points and three rebounds.

Stevens' Allie Moss opened the scoring with a 3-point shot. It was quickly followed by a free throw by Dufner that started the Warriors on a five-point run with two layups by Reed, both assisted by Dufner. Dufner added two more points on a jumper at 5:32 in the quarter, but Stevens took control after that with a run of 12 straight points to lead 17-7 early in the second.

Colby White (Jermyn, Pa./Lakeland) connected on a layup in the second quarter and first-year
Jillian Pumputis (Westminster, Md./Westminster) hit another jumper with a 1:50 left remaining, as the Ducks led 27-13 at the end of the half.

Mya Wetzel (Frackville, Pa./North Schuylkill) opened the second half with a 3-point shot, assisted by first-year
Ashley Yoh (Myerstown, Pa./Eastern Lebanon County). Rantz shot for a 3-pointer with 1:50 left in the quarter to cut the Stevens' lead to 11, but Stevens scored the next nine to put the game out of reach in the final 10 minutes.

The Warriors scored their most points of the game in the final 10 minutes, posting 21 points, but Stevens scored the first seven points of the period and nearly matched the Warriors the rest of the way.

Jess Broad led the Ducks, scoring 13 points to go with five assists and five rebounds. She was joined by Allie Moss with nine points, seven assists, and six rebounds.

The Warriors return to the court on Saturday, Jan. 29, when they travel to FDU-Florham for a MAC Freedom matchup at 1 p.m. in Madison, N.J.
