LEBANON, Pa. – First-year Katryn Yocum (Carlisle, Pa./Boiling Springs) posted the fourth-fastest time in a 5K course in program history to lead the Lycoming College cross country teams during the Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen Invitational at Union Canal Tunnel Park on Saturday, Sept. 11.
 
Yocum took 26^th in the field, posting a time of 20:35.40 in her second career race, leaving her behind only Beth McCarthy (19:47, 1995), Kaylee Long (20:15.40, 2019) and Michelle Herman (20:21, 2012) in the school's 5K record book.
 
The women finished 13^th out of 22 schools, with sophomore Allison Clemens (Souderton, Pa./Souderton Area) finishing 81^st in the field of 161 runners, posting a time of 22:35.30. Sophomore Hiyori Iai (Zushi, Japan/Yokohama Science Frontier) placed 108^th in 23:31.20 and junior Laurel Stoppard (York, Pa./Central York) took 152^nd in 28:47.20. Junior Kira Christian (New Cumberland, Pa./Red Land) rounded out the top five in 30:38.00
 
First-year Elliot Bello (Trumbell, Conn./Trumbell) helped the men to a 14^th-place finish out of 23 schools, as he took 111^th in the field of 211 runners in 30:38.80. Senior Maxwell Hanson (Fort Walton Beach, Fla./Bishop Machebeuf (Colo.)) posted a time of 31:18.20 in his first 8K cross country race and senior Maverick Stenger (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) finished 172^nd in 34:12.40. Senior Logan Franquet (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) posted a time of 35:45.60, senior Diego Pallares (Cicero, Ill./Bulls College Prep) posted a 35:53.90 and first-year Nate Noel (Sparta, N.J./Sussex Tech) was also close behind in 36:09.10.
 
The Warriors head back to Misericordia for the Cougar Classic on Saturday, Sept. 18, at 10:15 a.m.
