Meghan Dufner (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) led the Lycoming College women's basketball team with nine points and six rebounds as Stevens Institute of Technology managed a 68-35 MAC Freedom win on Saturday, Dec. 4, at Canavan Arena.

Sophomore
Allison Butler (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove Area) put another six points on the board for the Warriors (1-6 overall, 0-1 MAC Freedom), as well as recording six rebounds and two steals. She hit 4-for-5 free throws.

Dufner kicked off the scoring for the Warriors on a 3-pointer to cut the Ducks' opening six-point lead in half. With the help of five 3-point shots, Stevens scored 36 points in the first half, ending the second quarter ahead, 36-13.

Mya Wetzel (Frackville, Pa./North Schuylkill) opened the fourth quarter with a 3-pointer, as she was one of nine Warriors to score in the game. Both sophomore
Cathryn Brought (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) and sophomore
Jessica Shaver (Luzerne, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) each added four points. Brought managed a team-best seven rebounds.

Lucy Alberici led the Ducks as she put up 16 points, seven rebounds, and one assist. Jess Broad added 10 points and 14 rebounds and Allie Moss posted 13 points and five assists.

The Warriors return to their home court on Saturday, Dec. 11, to host MAC Freedom opponent FDU-Florham at 1 p.m. in Lamade Gym.
