ASHLAND, Va. – First-year guard
Mya Wetzel (Frackville, Pa./North Schuylkill) accounted for 13 points and five rebounds to lead the Lycoming College women's basketball team as it fell to non-conference opponent Randolph-Macon College, 60-42, on Sunday afternoon, Nov.7, at Crenshaw Gymnasium.

Wetzel led the Warriors (0-1 overall), hitting 4-of-11 from 3-point ranger, also adding three steals and an assist. Junior
Emily Zoscin (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly Area) also scored in double figures, posting 12 points and three rebounds, hitting 5-of-10 from the floor.

Allison Wagner (York, Pa./Central York) led in assists and rebounds with five helpers and six boards while finishing with seven points while first-years
Sophie Pelton (Endicott, N.Y./Maine-Endwell) added three assists and
Ashley Yoh (Myerstown, Pa./Eastern Lebanon County) scored six points.

A 3-pointer from Zoscin with 3:33 left in the first brought the Warriors within a point at 9-8, but a 16-6 run between the quarters by Baldwin-Wallace, who reached the second round of the NCAA Championship in 2019, helped it take a 25-14 lead before leading by 14 at the break, 35-21. Lycoming answered in the second half with an 11-4 run to start the third, as Wetzel hit a fastbreak 3-pointer, but in the fourth quarter, the Yellow Jackets started on a 14-2 run to close out the win.

Aimee Debell led the Yellow Jackets (1-0 overall) with 16 points, two assists, and eight rebounds, while Becca Anthony had 14 points and seven rebounds. Devan Conrad grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds and also scored eight points.

The Warriors return to the court on Saturday, Nov. 13, for a 3 p.m. start at Franklin and Marshall College for the Terry Greene Tip-Off Classic in Lancaster, Pa.
