DALLAS, Pa. – In the first team double dual-meet of the season, senior Jake Booth (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) and junior Katherine Brown (Glenside, Pa./Abington) led the Lycoming College men's and women's swim team in event wins, as the men defeated Hood College, 166-76, but fell to Misericordia University, 138-116, and the women fell to Misercordia, 183-64, and Hood, 125-89, on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 6, at the Anderson Center in Dallas, Pa.
 
Booth won three events to lead the men's team, taking home his first victory of the day in the 200-yard freestyle race with a time of 1:50.50. He also won the 200-yard backstroke at 2:03.34 and the 500-yard freestyle race with a final time of 5:04.57.
 
Sophomores Carter Branigan (Lansdowne, Pa./Commonwealth Charter) and C.J. Zortman (York, Pa./York Suburban) took home individual wins as well, with Branigan winning the 200-yard butterfly at 2:04.76 and the 100-yard butterfly at 54.92. Zortman's 59.07 time won the 100-yard backstroke.
 
Brown won two events for the women, leading the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:05.43 and the 200-yard breaststroke at 2:29.74.
 
Sophomore Elisa DiNicola (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) won the 100-butterfly race, clocking a time of 1:03.22.
 
The Warriors return to the water on Saturday, Nov. 13, as they host Messiah College at 1 p.m. at the Lamade Gym Natatorium.
