WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Three Lycoming College men's basketball players finished in double figures, led by 15 points from senior 
Matt Ilodigwe (Wilmington, Del./Concord), but McDaniel College held Lycoming to 34 percent from the field in a 73-62 win during the Crosstown Challenge on Saturday, Nov. 13, at Lamade Gym.
 
Ilodigwe led the Warriors (2-2 overall) with 15 points, hitting three 3-pointers, and both sophomore 
Steven Hamilton (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) and junior 
DeAundre Manuel (Brooklyn, N.Y./KIPP NYC Prep) each had 13 points. Manuel also posted 13 rebounds. Junior 
Mo Terry (Severn, Md./Severn) added nine points and junior 
D'Andre Edmond (Pflugerville, Texas/Pflugerville) added five.
 
The Green Terror (2-0 overall) were led by 37 points and eight rebounds from Michael Wallace and 12 points and six rebounds from Kaelen Kanealey.
 
The Warriors held a 7-6 lead four minutes into the game, but McDaniel scored the next eight points and led by at least three points until Ilodigwe hit a 3-pointer with 1:57 to go in the half that made it 25-23. Michael Wallace had five points in the final two minutes, though, sending the Green Terror into the locker room with a 33-24 lead.
 
The Warriors trailed by 14 six minutes into the second half before drawing within six with five minutes to play and again with two minutes to play. Each time Wallace found the answer, the last time with five straight points to make it 69-58 with 43 seconds left.
 
The Warriors get back on the court on Saturday, Nov. 20, when they head crosstown to face Penn College at 1 p.m.
