READING, Pa. – Senior Jake Booth (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) and sophomore Carter Branigan (Lansdowne, Pa./Commonwealth Charter) each won two events and were a part of the 200-yard freestyle relay for the Lycoming College men's swim team, leading the way as the team won nine events to beat Albright College for the first time since 1995, 111-60, on Saturday, Oct. 16, at the Schumo Center.
 
Booth took home victories in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:53.19 and the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:27.45. Branigan won the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:08.16 and the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 55.12. The Warriors won the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:33.44, as Booth and Branigan were joined by sophomores C.J. Zortman (York, Pa./York Suburban) and Eliot Keith (New Ringgold, Pa./Blue Mountain) in the win.
 
Junior Caleb Reigle (Mount Wolf, Pa./Northeastern) took home a victory in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 12:58.26 and junior Will Marcinkowski (Philadelphia, Pa./LaSalle College) won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:04.67. First-year Noah Vivian (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area) won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.51 and Keith won the 100-yard freestyle, coming in at 50.98.
 
The Lycoming women fell to Albright, 97.5-57.5, though junior Katherine Brown (Glenside, Pa./Abington) won two individual events to lead the team. She took the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 56.28 and the 100-yard breaststroke with a time 1:08.34. She also participated in the Warriors' victory in the 200-yard medley relay with sophomores Elisa DiNicola (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsocks Township), Courtney Chapman (Warminster, Pa./William Tennent) and senior Devon Kaiser (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson), coming in at 1:58.23.
 
The Warriors return to action Saturday, Oct. 23, as they host Lebanon Valley College at 1 p.m. at the Lamade Gym Natatorium.
