WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After falling to two of the top three teams in the league in their last two outings, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will get back on the court looking to stay in the top half of the MAC Commonwealth standings when Hood College visits Lamade Gym on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 1 p.m.

The Warriors (12-7 overall, 5-5 MAC Commonwealth) fell to league-leading Messiah, 58-23, in their last outing. Senior Akilah McFadden led the team with six points and two steals and junior Erica Lutz added five points and 11 rebounds. 

The Blazers (4-14 overall, 0-9 MAC Commonwealth) have fallen in 13 games in a row, last falling to league-leading Albright, 74-39, on Jan. 25. Senior Celestria Hill led the team with 10 points and eight rebounds.

Game Notes
• The Warriors are 8-5 all-time on Feb. 1 and 3-1 in MAC Commonwealth games, last beating Alvernia, 70-52, in 2017.

• The Warriors are looking to avoid dropping three games in a row for the first time since Feb. 11-Feb. 18, 2017, a stretch of 63 games.

• Junior Erica Lutz needs nine more points to become the 28th player in school history to reach 700 in a career.

• With 50 3-pointers made this year, senior Morgan Mader needs one more to tie Kim Wood (1989-90) and Olivia Manges (2015-16) for second in program history.

• With 124 career 3-pointers made, Mader needs two more to tie Jennifer Shuler (1995-99) for third in school history.

• With 225 career steals, senior Akilah McFadden needs three more to tie Rachael Scheller (2009-13) for second in program history.

• McFadden needs two more blocks to become the sixth player in program history to post 75 in a career.
