WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore Jake Booth (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) and juniors Brandon Vought (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg) and Cara Zortman (York, Pa./York Suburban) each won three individual events as the Lycoming College swim teams swept Lebanon Valley in a MAC Conference dual to kick off the team's spring semester on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 11, at Lamade Gymnasium Natatorium.
 
The Warriors (2-5 overall) won 24 of the 28 events, as the men's team won 139-114 and the women's earned a 134-93 win over the Dutchmen (1-4 overall).
 
Booth claimed the top spot in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.52), 200-yard backstroke (2:09.22) and the 100-yard butterfly (50.17) events while Vought took top honors in the 100-yard freestyle (55.93), 1,000-yard freestyle (10:40.32) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:18.78). Freshman Caleb Reigle (Mount Wolf, Pa./Northeastern) claimed second in both the 1,000 (12:18.13) and 500-yard freestyle (6:01.10).
 
Junior Dom Berardelli (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville) won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:00.94, freshman William Marcinkowski (Philadelphia, Pa./La Salle College) won the 100- (1:07.50) and 200-yard (2:30.40) breaststrokes. They followed that by finishing 1-2 in the 200-yard individual medley, with Berardelli first in 2:14.05 and Marcinkowski behind at 2:20.08. Senior Will Gillespie (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) won the 200-yard butterfly in 2:14.90.
 
Berardelli, Marcinkowski, Gillespie and freshman Matt Michenfelder (East Winsor, N.J./Hightstown) won the 200 yard medley relay in 1:52.90.
 
Zortman swam to a first-place finish in the 50- (26.25), 100- (57.61) and 500-yard (5:45.56) freestyles to lead the Lycoming women's squad. Zortman also anchored the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team with senior Michaela Thode (Anderson, Calif./West Valley), freshman Katherine Brown (Glenside, Pa./Abington) and sophomore Devon Kaiser (Cinnaminson, N.J./Connaminson).
 
Brown won two events, finishing in 2:43.40 in the 200-yard breaststroke and 1:12.89 in the 100-yard breaststroke. Kaiser won the 200-yard individual medley (2:28.88) and took second behind Brown in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:18.69). Thode, Brown, Pikounis and Kaiser was the winning 200 yard IM relay team with a time of 2:01.61.
 
Junior Mikayla Wright (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:45.58 and finished second to Brown in the 200-yard individual medley (2:32.91) and the 500-yard freestyle. Other winners for Lycoming included senior Elena Pikounis (Marriottsville, Md./Marriotts Ridge), who won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:12.61 and Thode, who won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:12.53.
 
The Warriors head to King's (Pa.) on Saturday, Jan. 18, for a MAC Conference dual meet with the Lions set to begin at 1 p.m.
